Pro-life Do you generally support pro-choice or pro-life legislation?
No In order to balance the budget, do you support an income tax increase on any tax bracket?
No In order to balance the budget, do you support reducing defense spending?
We need to move from using the Continuing Resolution process back to 12 Appropriation Committee process. Congress must work for the people once again and work within their means.
No Do you support the regulation of indirect campaign contributions from corporations and unions?
No Do you support federal spending as a means of promoting economic growth?
Yes Do you support lowering corporate taxes as a means of promoting economic growth?
Federal Tax Payer dollars should be spent to fund necessary governmental functions/processes/operations. Stimulus packages historically show vast amounts of waste with little benefit to the economy at large. Less goverment, not more is needed. Same goes for spending.
No Do you support requiring states to adopt federal education standards?
Department of Education needs cut. Powers should be delegated to the states to meet overall guidelines for best learning for our children's benefit. Parents and communities know best how to serve their children's needs. Less goverment control and more tools for learning and monies for actual education, not administration of Education.
Yes Do you support government funding for the development of renewable energy (e.g. solar, wind, thermal)?
Yes Do you support the federal regulation of greenhouse gas emissions?
All limited to the extent that it is beneficial to the populous, not in an attempt to save the earth. We should only regulate to encourage positive corporate compliance with best practices. Over regulation kills jobs and kills innovation. All attempts should be made to keep regulations limited and encourage innovation to benefit humanity.
No Do you generally support gun-control legislation?
The second amendment secures our unalienable rights as given by God. Criminals will always commit crimes. We need enforcement of jail terms and punishment for violent crimes. I am a strong proponent of CCW. I support legislation for Federal uniformity to carry guns across state lines, within and following state to state guidelines.
Yes Do you support repealing the 2010 Affordable Care Act ("Obamacare")?
Yes. We need competition. Tort reform. Purchase insurance across state lines. We need the ability to have free market insurance to buy insurance for any nucleus family member as desired through employer, paid for by the employee. Free up the free market is needed for innovation and to drive down costs.
Yes Do you support the construction of a wall along the Mexican border?
Yes Do you support requiring immigrants who are unlawfully present to return to their country of origin before they are eligible for citizenship?
We need technology, infrastructure, and manpower at the border. We need enforcement within our borders and for police, sheriff, and ICE to be able to do their jobs.
No Do you support the legalization of marijuana for recreational purposes?
Yes Should the United States use military force in order to prevent governments hostile to the U.S. from possessing a nuclear weapon?
Yes Do you support increased American intervention in Middle Eastern conflicts beyond air support?
Minimal and least amount of intervention should be sought. Answering "no" might imply that should we have to take action, my statements were not honest. Keeping that in mind, I am answering "Yes." We should be cautious with any "intervention."
